Judging by the Liverpool fan reaction when the news broke about them ālosing him to Arsenalā, I imagine itād be the same amongst our fanbase. Especially as we need a new 6 with Partey and Jorginho likely to exit.
Signing quality 6s is one of the hardest positions to fill in football.
Replacing Partey or Jorginho will be very difficult.

We made headway for Vitor Reis in the background as well and he ended up at City. Things can change.

Just to confirmā¦I will absolutely have a meltdown if we donāt sign Zubimendi this summer! He is a player I desperately want and I think we need.
If we do sign him, and he is as good as I think he will be, and youāre all waxing lyrical about him, I just hope you all remember that I told you soā¦

Yeah I was pretty gutted we didnāt sign him and Rice, but I wanted Rice over Caicedo. I still think there is a very good player there but Zubimendi is a far superior player, so it is all about him now for meā¦Iāve moved on 
I know Partey could get us some good vertical passes, but defensively, we really need someone good to defend, which Rice is better than Zubi.
