What a player, our best transfer this window, looking forward to how the link up with Rice will evolve.
I hope we will have more interchanging in between Ode, Zubi and Rice; and when we are attacking, Ode and Zubi can push forward more, and Rice stay back a bit.
In the end, the least creative and technical player is Rice, and he is better in defense than offense.
It is just a waste if we ask Ode to spend so much time in our defensive zone.

Didnāt think he did anything awful or impressive. Iām disappointed that the whole midfield couldnāt control the game.
The ball felt like it was in the air for 80 minutes and nobody bar Odegaard beat the person in front of them.

Ah weāve moved on a week and heās no longer the second coming of busquets then.
Thought heās been relatively the same across the preseason and Sundayās game, youāll always get a stable ball recycler at the base of the midfield. Doesnāt look as good under pressure as big TP5 though.

Partey wasnāt shit, but he faded towards the end of the season and had a dreadful injury record until last season. His extra-curricular activities do not affect my assessment of him as a player.
Zubimendi is already a better player though. Iām baffled that others canāt see it.
