Unlike Martinelli, Odegaard has too much class & technical capability for this season to be a norm.
We forget that he had a big injury this season and was immediately thrown back into action and the first opponent was Chelsea.
Don’t forget he also turned vegan and had a baby.

His biggest contribution is having sex. The kid is likely managed by nannies so he is not losing sleep.
No he doesn’t earn enough for that, every second outside of training and walking around the emirates pitch is spent holding his baby and signing baa baa black sheep.
Martinelli despite his poor form has had big moments this season. Our captain is the reason we are out of the FA Cup and he shat the bed in the majority of the big games we’ve had this season.
Calls to sell Odegaard are wild as he’s one of the best players in the league, but we need (and rightfully expect) more from him.
Which ones? Genuine question as I am unable to recall right now.
Goal against Madrid doesn’t feel a big moment to me.
Not everyone with money who has kids defaults to ignoring them and paying other people to deal with them.

Getting nannies doesn’t equate ignoring your baby.
Nannies can really be the difference between 8 hours sleep and 2 hours sleep.
You don’t need to hold your baby 24/7 to be a good parent.

I would include Madrid as it sealed a win but that is very recent and wouldn’t want to be accused of recency bias. Think he’s been much better in Europe than domestically. His performances vs PSG and Sporting stood out .
I am a Martinelli super fan so probably track him more than most. We should have beaten Villa but he was venomous in that game although he got caught needlessly offside and cost us a goal! He shredded Man City as well.
I’m struggling for Odegaard. I mean he was quality in the 5-1 City game.
Scoring the winner (on the night) in the Bernabeu for a club that doesn’t have much of that kind of European history is a massive moment.
