Are you doing any specific physiotherapy work on your ankle or just letting it heal naturally?
So frustrating because it’s really one of those you have to patiently wait and let it heal. The swelling lasted good few weeks as well.

Crutches just make it look worse.
Maybe because he needs to walk a for certain distance and better not put any weight on it?
I don’t know… either using crutches or on a wheel chair doesn’t look good, but a lot of times they are just precaution also, and try not to worsen the injury.

When I sprained my ankle last year, I had to do the same thing. It was only for a few days, but it’s just to keep the weight off.
I’d more worried if he was wearing a protective boot.

One month is doable, but I’m mostly disappointed atm how we failed to adress this area of the pitch again.
We knew for a long long time we had no one close to Odegaard’s profile to replace him. We got Merino as an 8, but should have had a guy like him after Xhaka left anyway. We were still a bit short with number 8s.
We also left ESR and Vieira go, who weren’t big covers for him anyway, but I hoped we would get someone of that profile considering there was more room left.
Calafiori is a lovely talent, but… I think we would have been more than fine with Timber, Kiwi and Zinny on that left side. We even have Tierney too lol. We definitely needed another number 8 more.
On the other hand, let’s hope the best defence in football right now does a job for us.
Allardyce/Pullis mode FULL ON in the next couple of weeks.
Arteta decided to prioritise the defence over the midfield (and attack). Let’s see how will he use it now.

If these injuries have taught me anything is that next summer we absolutely have to go gungo ho in CAM, Wing and ST cover regardless of how the season goes tbh
