Manchester United

Did Mysty go to the extent of having his account wiped? :joy:

No they go inactive if not used after a while.

Pogba, Anthony, Maguire, Sancho and Lukaku.

Go look at what they paid for these and then you’ll understand why these bums are broke as fuck. Everyone of them a flop, and we thought we had it bad with Pepe

They will be so crushed when Bilbao end their Europa dream

They might be without Nico but even so it’s hard to see them get past Bilbao.
Despite the happy result for them in the end, the way that game against Lyon went should still be alarming.
Had a comfortable 2 goal lead, somehow gave Lyon a lifeline and then gave a 10 man team a 2 goal lead at their ground.

Bilbao won’t let them off the hook like Lyon did.

How embarrassing for Neville predicting Man U would be challenging us for a top four place, then with only a few games to go, having to watch them drifting around just above the relegation places.

But despite losing to fellow relegation strugglers Wolves, and being on the same points as them, Ipswich losing does at least mean they are mathematically safe from relegation.

Although as funny as their situation is, they’re still above spurs.

United’s shit is always sweeter, for Neville

If Amorim turns this around the next season it would be a miracle. I just don’t see it.

How the hell is Ruben Amorim getting away with this disaster class week-in week-out? How’s it that the players/squad are getting all the blame and he’s getting all the sympathy with excuses like

  • He doesn’t have the players to play his system
  • He didn’t even want to join United mid-season
  • These players have got so many other managers sacked
  • He didn’t have a pre-season

Vitor Pereira joined Wolves in Dec 2024 (after Amorim), with them 13 points behind Utd or something, and they are now level with them. So Vitor didn’t need “his players” to be able play “his system”, he didn’t need a pre-season to turn Wolves around, but Amorim is so special that he needs all of that to work out before he can produce results/performances on the pitch?

United under Amorim have got 23 points in 22 games in the league. Wolves under Pereira have scored 29 points in 17 games.

As for this whole system that Amorim wants to play but can’t cause he doesn’t have the players, can someone explain why is he persisting with this system if these players aren’t good enough to play it and will be eventually replaced with “his” players? Why can’t he employ a system these players can play and get some results? Why does he get to be so stubborn?

And given the number of players that United need to improve the squad, it’s obvious they will need multiple Windows to get it right. So in the mean time, can Amorim continue to ride on this “doesn’t have the players to play his system” excuse season after season?
