ten Hag has been looking very suspect for a while now and honestly I don’t see how they are much different from Ole’s team with regards to how they play.
I don’t see the free flowing ball that you’d expect from someone who had Ajax balling in the CL the way they were. Been saying maybe it was more a case of a perfect storm with the players they had at the time and he’d be unable or struggle to do similar, they’ve spent a lot of money and the signings for the most part have been questionable.
He hasn’t been helped with the Greenwood and Sancho situations but Antony is his boy so he has to hold that, beyond the players the structure and ideas are severely lacking .
This could be a make or break season for him and I’m thinking the latter.

Who else thinks Rashford is surely off at the end of the season?
They can’t afford to lose him.
He is their poster boy.
How many yrs left on his contract? He won’t go for anything less than £120m.
The only clubs he could realistically go to would be outside the EPL.
He’ll never join City, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea.
Maybe Spurs at a push? They owe them for Berbatov right?

I can see him receiving the same criticism Kane did about lack of ambition.

Bayern away next. If that doesn’t go well, the pressure will be huge on EtH against Burnley who will be looking to get their first points of the season.
Rashford is their best player and he’d struggle to get in our first team.
It’s nice to see both Ten Haag at Man U and Boehly at Chelsea doing such a great job.

Sancho is not even playing…
I don’t know about that tbh, let’s see what he does this season because outside of last season he’s not been doing a great deal for the past three years. He performed very well in a contract year and got the bag but he wasn’t putting in seasons like the top guys like Mane, Salah, Hazard etc season to season.
He’s not at that level to draw such criticism IMO, Kane was minimum top 5 striker in the world for years which is why the criticism was there.
Could Rashford do a decent job as an #8 at Arsenal?

I’m souring on Rashford personally. Hasn’t exploded into an better player. Goes through too many dips and how he plays sometimes is frustrating as hell. By this age Kane already had multiple 20+ League goal seasons and still managed to get even better.

Rashford is the best example of a purple patch player but he does become unplayable
