Manchester United

These guys are just brought up this way.

I’d have him at Arsenal :santi:

Carragher gets totally lost in his rhetoric during that bit but he’s actually spot on.

What is Pogba’s best role in world football. Is he box to box, goal scoring CAM, creative DLP? He doesn’t even really play like he knows for United.

Other Jamie makes the point of how Pogba plays for France but that’s like when we talked about Coquelin beside Santi.

Kante is truely one of the best CMs in the game- hell maybe ever. You can’t talk about Pogba playing for France.

Carragher mentions Silva this season- absolutely insane player, gives it all. Shit physicality - yet he’s an absolute beast for Pep. Could Odegaard be that fit for us?

Either way. Any manager who could get the best out of Pogba would be too intelligent to take him on.

Pogba is a flair creative mid. To me, very similar to Ozil. He needs a great team in order to shine.

Imagine Kevin De Bruyne playing for this unstable, dysfunctional Man United team/club.

Look at how Varane and Sancho look like shadows of their former selves.

So a luxury player/passenger.

Kdb ain’t that bro

KDB also plays in a well balanced, well oiled footballing machine in Man City. The overall balance in their team is magnificent.

Now look at the patchwork Man United squad with pensioners like Mata, Matic, Cavani etc.—below par British players like McGuire and Mctomeny—expensive flair players like Pogba and Sancho.

Man United is a disaster from top to bottom. Pogba has kept a cool head all through the instability there.

I can’t remember exactly but didn’t they go out of the Euros after leading through Pogba magic and then being easily played through in midfield? And he was one of the culprits?

It seems strange to have a club with a player like De Bruyne, who’s basically bringing everything to the table you’d want Pogba to, being treated like it’s crying out for someone of Pogba’s ability. Does he make any difference in their CL exit this year? Is he realistically starting over Bernardo or De Bruyne? Is he coming off the bench to hold the lead? It seems like a bizarre move on Pogba’s side if his other options are also good teams.

Not to mention, as you said. Silva is literally already doing the stuff you want KDB to do. He’s like a little fucking equally brilliant/ugly Modric these days for City.

Absolutely not sore at all about how he dismissed us last summer.

Fuck, I’m actually not- he was genuinely too good for us at that point.

He’s trying to be Neville in Neville’s absence.

Pair of vile bastards.

City dodged a bullet there

Would love to have seen him tearing it up at City. Imagine how good he’d be with a competent midfield around him and being able to play those dangerous passes of his to quality players.

I think him not joining perhaps shows he knows he can’t cut it in the PL with the weight and expectation of being default title favourites

no thanks he is the exact profile of douchebag we are trying to get rid of, a player that plays for himself and is more intrested in social media and how he looks than damn well buckling down…plus another huge wage. He would be another Ozil & Auba for sure.

Improved terms?

This and the Bruno deal suggest the new people in charge still don’t have a clue.

DDG really should move for the benefit of his career, he has been at United long enough facing shot after shot.

I do think Ten Haag is the best appointment they’ve made post Fergie though, if he’s looking for positive to stay aside from a huge salary.

To where though? Any club that could afford him has a goalie at least as good as him and better in some cases. He’s stuck basically so might as well milk it.

DDG is a shot stopper who is going to be phased out by ETH. If he very surprised if ETH had anything to do with this.
