The biggest question at United is how long will the Glaziers let Woodward (bless him) continue to appoint the wrong managers and sink them further. Imagine if he gets to pick Ole’s replacement, the stupidity they would to have to possess to allow him to do it AGAIN.
No matter who they appoint its Woodward that needs to change. As long he stays we continue to eat good boys

They are underperforming imho… they have some talent and some serious, serious injury problems… but mainly they are suffering from the same thing we are - a manager who seems to have no clue how to get his team to play any sort of way… they also have some mental cases there, but if they actually get a good manager, I can see them becoming relevant for top 4 again.
There other issue is that they have no proper goal scorers other than perhaps players who are too young/not ready. I will admit I am surprised how some of their attacking players have just fallen off completely or not progressed like I expected.
They have structural issues too which they’ve done nothing to address. They want another Ferguson and that type of manager just does not exist anymore.

Yeah if that is true, then they will search forever… but having their practically unlimited spending power makes it a lot easier to get back once they get a proper manager imho.

Spending for the sake of spending (pretty much what they are doing) will never work imo. Chelsea and City sprees over the last 15 years have been somewhat targeted but united don’t know what they are doing. It’s great.

They will eventually move up from this nadir - I am surprised it has taken this long… not saying they will do a Pool or City, but there is zero chance they are not in the top 4 convo reliably again soon imho.
Agreed. But top 4 is essentially meaningless to them. If they aren’t in the hunt they’ll keep changing managers.
