Manchester City*

Doubt he leaves partway through unless the charges come in. He has never not seen out a season.

Their form, and these odd rumblings do make you think something is due to happen.

I know it won’t, but a man can dream.

Just seen Rodri’s comments post game. So he’s accused the referees for not being neutral because they win so much.

So I shall expect the media to go ballistic on him just like they did on Arteta two years ago, right?

Nah, they’ll probably create a ‘does he have a point’ narrative around it

Rodri could/should have been sent off for a second yellow twice, so much so Pep took things into his own hands and benched him.

So perhaps the ref wasn’t neutral, but not in the way he means…

Apparently they have yet to score a 2nd half Premier League goal in 2026

Rodri loves a moan, he’s such a terrible loser :joy:

We need to beat these lot when we play them to prove once and for all we are strong enough to take them apart and to head towards the title. Would love Jesus to be part of that - considering he was one of the first important signings for us to level up our game !?

I’ll just point out to this again…

City are arguably a better side now with Rodri on the bench. He has totally lost his intensity and ability to press as needed. Only has that passing ability left. They just have zero engine power in that midfield now.

Pep doesn’t want to acknowledge it and it’s costly.

They actually looked decent in that run while Rodri was injured, in December. They aren’t existing on the pitch in the second halfes of all the games after his return.

Rodri knows it. And he’s frustrated by this in the first place.

Kinda highlights the importance of them losing out on Declan Rice at the time. He would have taken the mantle from him (Rodri) and City would be in a more serviceable state than they currently are.

Since then, they’ve signed Reijnders and Gonzalez.

The 115 charges looming, Pep’s magic dissipating and a team oddly assembled players are signs that things are not looking good.

I agree, they are not the team they were and with Guardiola probably leaving at the end of his contract, they could do a Man U and slide down the league.

If they get the punishment they deserve, it won’t be just the PL they’ll be sliding down, it could be the Championship, especially having such plastic support.

This use to be us :smiling_face_with_tear:

The most annoying thing about all this, is that the media never call out the hypocrisy of Guardiola or players when they moan about decisions.

They also don’t mention how a club with a support base no bigger than a mid table club are spending record amounts on top quality replacements for injured players.

To be fair, those decisions would bother me as well.

We’re playing them in the CC final on March 22 right before the international break and then the league on April 18. But I just clocked that there is a decent chance we end up with them in the CL quarterfinals too and that would be April 8 and April 15.

Going to be so fucking sick of that bald headed prick.

So nothing new there :pires2:
