Manchester City*

Agreed, except for the last part.

Pep needs to retire to a desert island (with risk of tsunami), never to be seen or heard of again.

The sad thing about the state of affairs with EPL atm is that nobody has ever won a title race against City/Guardiola here. Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd all tried and ended up 2nd.

Other folk only win when City royally shit the bed. But when it’s an actual title race, they always pull through. Can’t stand them.

Nah. He could win England the World Cup and the Euros with the current crop of players. He is an exceptional manager. Just a shame he’s at City! I want to see England win the World Cup in my lifetime…after Arsenal win the PL again and finally the CL though!

There’s always a first mate!

We can do this :red_circle: :white_circle:

What a load of shit. They either do enough to win it or they dont.

Pep Checkbook on the tv right now. Pathetic how the media fawn over this clown.

Nah fuck that shit lol I don’t give a shit about beating them fair and square, give me a stack of titles won because they got relegated and I won’t complain at all. Fuck them.

Foden offered nothing yesterday. Feels like that 75% of the time I watch City.

Nunes, Koshanov, Ake, O’Rielly is not a title winning defence

They are gonna suffer despite short term favourable fixture list.

I think this is starting to be reflected in their play this season. They do really lack athleticism throughout the side bar Haaland obviously.

Pep seems to have partly accepted the need for more of this but they don’t really have the players in the squad to fulfill that need.

Even with Rodri back, albeit not quite completely, I still think the lack of athelticism is going to be an issue.

It’s interesting that it now seems like Arteta has the blueprint and Pep is a step behind.

There was a moment yesterday where City were countering with numbers, Foden on the ball, Cherki all alone to his right, for whatever reason he made a shit through ball to Haaland.

Need to find the clip. Cherki was fuming.

Edit:
Found it.

Completely ignored him after that as well, with Cherki (rightfully) screaming at him.

A lot has been said about Palmer’s performance yesterday but Foden was equally bad if you ask me.

How is a few players out a “crushing injury blow?”

They haven’t had a fraction of the injuries to key players like we’ve had and when they do get a few, they’ll just buy their way out of trouble like they usually do.

Most clubs have more injuries than Man City but don’t have the strength in depth or money that they have, so It’s ridiculous the way the media sympathise with them but ignore the way they’ve cheated their way to so many titles.
