They are now behind Chelsea. They have a game in hand, but I can see them losing tomorrow against Palace.
Old Trafford is always a hard game for us. But I think we’ll win this time.
No Maguire is a disadvantage for us. Still think we batter them regardless this time.

The way EtH has obsessed over us since our last game at home, this is going to be his piece de resistance. He’s going to shine his noggin up real good. And no matter how bad their squad is, someone is bound to have a brilliant game.
We’ve certainly got enough about us to beat them and I think it will be about weathering the storm a bit before we settle into our game. United will want to score first and I can see them being very aggressive to begin with.
They have that rat backed into the corner mentality, ready to lose it all but hopefully we’re more terminator on the day and dispatch them with ease.

This is exactly how I feel about this game.
They will be up for this game. ETH is scared for his job and is on a PR run(interview with Neville) to portray a better image. He will want to win this game and somehow spin it like he had things going against him, and if things were fair, he would have won more games, including one against us at Emirates.
I am curious to see how we set up against them. Will we focus on making sure they have no space to run or will we focus on exploiting the shit load of space they do leave behind.

A full or nearly full strength side would worry me but I just can’t see an Evans-Casemiro CB pairing, with MacTominay and Mainoo ahead, giving them the platform to trouble us too much. Rashford is likely also still out and he’s the attacker that scares me the most if he decides to turn up.

I doubt their players are that bothered by this game because they’ve showed that they’re not playing for ETH and the lure of EL football isn’t tempting enough.
Tbf, getting a random result against a decent team while they’ve been shit is all they’ve been doing this season.
It helps them pretend that all is good there. That’s the mentality their coach instilled in them.

We have a poor record at OT and I can understand why many feel this is where our title challenge will end. But this is a different Arsenal and we have proven that on multiple occasions this season.
Not saying this will be easy but we don’t need it to be. United will play on the counter, which is their strength. We don’t have to smash them. Just play it smart, get a couple of goals and then control the game.
