I donāt buy the idea we should have given up on an outlet altogether. Yes it nearly paid off but gave ourselves zero respite. Big moment for City to take that point at the death.

Missed the game. Looks like we defended like lions but just couldnāt hold on till the end. I would have taken a draw here all day and this is still an excellent point for us. Losing a goal like that in the end will always hurt but this is still a very good result.
And whatās with our brain dead players picking yellows for the same stupid thing every week. Footballers are definitely not very bright.
Anyway, this team has some serious guts. We donāt go down easy. Proud of this performance.
I have to be honest I think we overdid it a little in the final 10, I get that we need to give ourselves breathers but there was one sequence where we had about three players go down one after another and all it did was increase the tension and prolong the match. I do think we couldāve been a bit cuter about not overdoing some of the antics late on but overall the performance has to be celebrated.
I hope the football authorities arenāt as captured as PGMOL are.

When the stakes are so high, watching that defensive display was a delight.
It was obviously viable to do what we did but no room at all to keep their backline a little more occupied? I disagree but guess weāll never know. Also how were they all over us 11v11? When we went 2-1 up we had taken back a massive stranglehold of the match and City were under the pump. We had a very strong phase there but thatās a different discussion.
