Man City vs Arsenal (PL) 2-2

Not very. City will lose to Newcastle.

Not very, that’s why beating Spurs was so important.

Cause I think there’s a very chance we’re dropping points vs. City — or perhaps it’s a point gained instead.

If we dropped vs. Spurs and then lost vs. City. I’d say it’s done.

Going back to our last duel when we got that 0-0 draw, you could expect a similar game.

Regarding Odegaard in particular, we shouldn’t actually miss him, compared to that particular game. We didn’t have any flow that day either, we came for a point and got one. I still remember Odegaard being pretty frustrating and quite error prone in possession on that day.
We just need someone to replace his pressing and work rate and that’s it.

We are more that capable of getting a clean sheat, hopefully Gabriel can smash one in, and that’s it. No one should be hoping for some nice football from us really.
A peak Cholo performance needed and expected.

Regarding the lineup, probably something similar as last night. Between Jorgi and Partey I’d actually go with Jorgi. There’s not much between them nowadays anyway, plus Jorgi is usually a more reliable controler, doesn’t take those unneeded risks as Party. And he always has a good connection with Rice.

Up front, it’s mostly between Jesus and Trossard. I guess whoever is in better shape in training these days starts.

It would be very damaging

Who has managed to hunt Peps City down before? You really need to be ahead to stand a genuine chance tbh, five points behind with no Odegaard is a ridiculous task .

If we get a point here and get over with this fixture, I’ll honestly be happy.

Don’t say that, we should winning every game comfortably!!!

True though. 0-3 to the Arsenal!

A loss won’t be damaging, still a long way to go. Ofc a win will be great and Draw will be a good result but defeat won’t be damaging as mentioned by some.

Don’t forget City will also have to visit to Emirates where we can return the favour. Other than that, they might well be deducted some points even if the least possible punishment is given.

Some of you’re behaving as if this is the end of the world. There are still 33 games left after this game.

One fucking nil to the Arsenal.

That’s rich coming from you

Okay then keep on crying

This has gone right over your head hasn’t it? Your complete lack of self awareness is right up there with your outright negativity on this forum, and it looks like quite a few people have agreed with me on my original statement.

It’s going to be a glorious shitter of a match. Can’t wait for the tears from the “neutrals” (aka the Arsenal hating media cunts) about how we played anti-football and we’re small time etc.

There was a funny moment on Talksport yesterday where they were talking about Arsenal’s potential approach to this game. One guy was saying how it will be scandalous if Arsenal go in with a cautious game plan. The other pundit replied saying if Arsenal lose 3-0 trying to play openly then next week you’ll come on here and say how naive Arsenal were! The whole lot of them then started pissing themselves.

The only way we will get any credit whatsoever is if we nick a win. 1-0 off a set piece would be a gigantic FUCK YOU to all the haters. We’re starting to get a rep as a defensive team who rely on set pieces. If we scrapped our way to victory that way, it would be just brilliant. Saliba with a slobberknocker header past Ederson in the 85th minute.
