This is a big part of what makes this ridiculous. There are Championship and League One sides that would give City more of a game than this.

I’m not saying we spent well. I’m just saying you can’t compare numbers against the too sides who aren’t rebuilding. This is because they would spend bigger.
Bottomline, as I’ve said in another post, the issues run deep. There is no quick fix. There is no trust in our decision making and spending. I honestly feel that even a Messi or Ronaldo wouldn’t fix things or paper over the cracks enough. The rebuild needs to start at the top. The mentality needs to change there first.
The problems start at the top, and then ripple all the way through the club.

Well we’ve got owners who don’t know what the fuck they are doing. But I think the problem is deeper than that because they think they actually do know what they are doing. So yeh we are in real trouble until there’s some honesty from the hierarchy of this organization that they don’t have a fucking clue.
