No it isn’t, the timing is poor but I like the profile of the player.

Is this lad still at Madrid? Is he doing anything of note, wherever he is? Worth a punt for anyone?
He’s at Fiorentina and hasn’t done anything of note since he got there. I’ve seen him play maybe twice and never saw anything even remotely close to being worth the hype he had a few years back.
I know @Phoebica watches a lot more of I Viola than I do though.

Surface level interpretation, but you might have thought that going there to slot into Vlahovic’s vacant spot would be a good opportunity to kickstart his promising, but stalling career.
I think fine is the best word to describe him. He hasn’t recreated the form he had at Frankfurt and neither is he as prolific as Vlahovic was for Fiorentina yet, but the performances are often there - some weeks better than others.
The fans did like him as well, until he said recently “hopefully this will be a launch pad to regain my form and return to a top club."
