Yeah in the second half the Fridge had 2 bookable offences. Wasnāt even shown a yellow for either lol
In the build up play yes, his passing was very good. But thereās a reason heās called the Fridge. If heās caught out of position it takes him that extra second to adjust, which leaves the other CB to cover up. Happened on a few occasions today, one time early in the 2nd half when Welbeck had a header he should have hit the target with. Heās Uniteds Xhaka basically, too slow in his mind sometimes or just unfocused.

At CBā¦when playing out from the back, yes heād fair better. But his height would still be endlessly mocked and seen as a glaring weakness to be exploited.
