It seems crazy to me that Martinez, Fabianski and Szcesney were all at Arsenal at one point or another over the last 10 years and yet Cech and Almunia were our starting keepers for so many years.
Sure Szcesney got a lot of games and Fabianski a decent amount too, but we really really have mismanaged our goalkeeping position so badly since Lehman.
Ospina, Cech, Viviano, Almunia - so many pointless transfers and keepers getting minutes (or not in Vivianoās case).
Martinez, Fabianksi and Szczesney are now all very highly rated keepers. Martinez one of the best in the PL, Szczesney one of the best in the world, and Fabianski doing very well for WHU and yet we had all three of them and we couldnāt get it right.
I actually think the mismanagement of the goalkeeper position doesnāt get highlighted enough as a completel failure by Wenger and the board. Total shambles.

Completely agree with this. At the end Wenger stuck with his same old favourites no matter how badly they let him and us down. Cech was definitely never the 15 points a season man John Terry said heād be - more the opposite if anything.
PS donāt let Big Weng know I made a less than complementary statement on Wenger - he might not forgive me.
