after the final whistle, but just looked back and sad to say he was onside. Fuck me that hurts, only reason I had a good night’s sleepw as that I thought he would have been ruled offside anyway.

Wasn’t he in a similar drought last season?
I remember he had a mixed first half last season and then he was really struggling midway through the season.
I think that Palace game turned things around for him, same for Martinelli.
we had some bad referee decisions and tough luck injuries this season, as well as a very tough schedule.
I am proud of our team and our boys.
I wouldn’t count him out just yet personally. He’s played a massive part in many of our wins this year.
Still a great asset in the team for me and I don’t doubt he’ll come in clutch again at some point this season.
Apparently in talks about extending his deal.

Yep, one of those Arab teams will come knocking again.
bloody hope so, he is so upgradable and this season we are seemingly starting to see a big decline.
The way I look at it is that Trossard is a very good player and is a fantastic squad option.
He’s not injury prone (yet), readily available, still within his expiry date and knows his role(s) within the team and won’t need the bedding in period a new player will likely need.
If we upgrade our forward options in the future, we will look at this as good business imo. Relying on him to play large minutes in multiple positions is where it unfolds for him. And that’s not entirely his fault.

Good that the injury appears to be minor and that he’s heading back to Arsenal. Gives Mikel more first team players to work with in our road to recovery.
Really hoping we see the real Arsenal after this international break. And while I am hoping, I also hope we don’t pick up any fresh injuries. We’re already without White for a couple of months.

Been a bit better the last couple of games with the reduced pressure on him to perform.
Perhaps the only good, ambitious & completed pass I remember from him this season
