Leandro Trossard (19)

Arteta needs to have better communication with both players.
What is he expecting from Nelli if he cannot score?
How can Tross get a starting spot?
such and such.

How do you know these conversations aren’t already happening?

I did not say he did not. If he did, probably need more.
Wondering what message Trossard was trying to send after he scored.
Very unusual.

Fab is still alive and kicking past the transfer deadline.

It would be complete and utter negligence to accept this bid and let Trossard go.

No, let them keep looking

He’s too important for us to sell him for €35m with the window closed and being unable to replace him.

I do expect more random bids being sent around today from Saudi as it’s their Deadline Day.

Completely forgot their window is still open. Nope, keep him, never agreed with selling players when we can’t physically replace them

They’ve come in way too late. If they send this bid in about 6 weeks ago at around £40m I think we’d have accepted and used the money to get someone else in.

Would sell Trossard if the price was ‘right’?

Needs to have a time condition as context imo. At this point in the season, it’s a no way for me. But earlier when the window was fresh? I’d probably say yeah

Eventually yes, certainly not now.

Headband Memphis is still available on a free…

Cool, tell Al-Ittihad to sign him and we keep Trossard.

Sell Trossard and our league hopes die. Would be fucking madness.

He is far too important. Scores winning goals, is a big game player, very reliable fitness and his versatility is almost a superpower.

He’s our starting LW as far as I am concerned. You don’t sell a starter after the window is closed lol.

Arteta would never approve this. Non story. Wish they made the bid in the summer though.

Yes but the right price for me under current circumstances is 250m

Considering we were scrambling around on deadline day to do a panic Sterling loan. I’m not sure selling Trossard in the Summer would have meant we’d have got someone decent in.

No chance

Ornstein confirmed it’s been rejected and Al-Ittihad were told he’s not for sale.

The structure of the offer was a joke too. Loan with obligation to buy, lol.

Trossard is too valuable to us right now. Plus we need the depth. Hard no.
