Leandro Trossard (19)

Personally I’m glad we didn’t spunk a billion euros on a couple of players I hadn’t heard of 6 months ago

I’d agree on the whole. It is near enough perfect tbf

If Jorginho was just a little more athletic and helped cover for Parteys impact defensively then it would be perfect

Tbf if he could do that Chelsea probably wouldn’t be selling him to us.

as a player for our transition, he is doing good so far.

I like a player like him who comes in slots in with ease. He shows he is eager and wants to play for us and play well for us.

So much better than splurging on some mercenaries.

It is not bad to have good mercenaries.

Honestly I wouldn’t even call him a mercenary.

He’s better than Brighton and just wanted to take the next step before he gets too old.

I didn’t say he is one.

I said better than splurging on some mercenaries.

I did not mean Trossard is one.
I just meant the word “mercenaries” is a bit misleading… it has a bit of negative meaning (just play for money, not loyal etc.)… but sometimes is it not bad to have a good mercenary who can actually contribute.

The Attacking play was less direct and quick after he went off, hope It’s nothing serious and he’s fit for the next one.

Hoping no more than a couple of weeks. Maximum.

Yes, he’s been fantastic since Day 1 and can slot in some different positions. Need that versatility back ASAP.

Can you imagine how well Trossard and Jesus will link up!

any news on his injury?

Groin/abductor injury.

iirc it came after he had to chase back on a ball that was ultimately offsides right? If they put the flag up sooner I wonder if he makes that sprint.

Well we’ve got King Nelson back now who looks like a player transformed. ESR also getting back to fitness.

Eddie and Jesus both should be returning soon too. There’s enough options there
