I’m trying to think if I’ve ever followed a sportsperson. I don’t think I have.
“Thanks to the fans for their support today. Glad to get the 3 points. #COYG”
“Sorry we couldn’t win today, we’ll come back stronger next game.
”
“some promotion shit for their sponsor.”
Sad how it ended, but I’m thankful for the service when it feels like footballers are lasting barely 3 years before moving on.
No idea what the club was thinking however, guy’s a fuck for how he conducted himself. But he really was doing us a massive favour in freeing up room for addition in a position we desperately need. Ridiculous we seriously considering a full season with Koscielny who is finished.
Before his achilles got bad I thought he was a very good centre back and instrumental in us getting top 4 slots.
It was a real shame his injury stopped him winning a world cup medal with France.
It was a sad finish with him going on strike but even so I am grateful for his contribution over a long period with the club.
Good luck to you Laurent on your swansong back in France and I hope it goes well for you…
I’ll look fondly back on him, despite this ending… a bit like Cesc. He was a solid professional and improved over the years, even if he had that insane error moment of suicide like all our defenders seem to have.
I love reading lines like this from you and remembering how much you lapped up Wengers shit for years after he was past it. ![]()
@AbouCuellar has a point, but as usual he’s being a bit of a dick about it.
There is no reason a serious club should be relying on Kos’s choco ankles for this coming season. It’s pretty shit planning, bordering on criminal.
While we’re out here spunking money on more attacking players, look at the cobwebs and neglect this defence has.
Maybe Kos didn’t want his dodgy Achilles to be the one thing holding this hodge-podge of shit together.
And he was fed up and wanted to enjoy himself back home.
Fine. He was a dick about it for sure, but I’m glad he was because this dumb club needed and still needs to do something about the defence.
Dicking about paying £180m on attackers when you got youth players in those positions who aren’t complete dogshit when you have a defence that is…wtf.
Improving our attack was vitally important too though. The need for a good quality winger cannot be underestimated. How many more games could we genuinely sit there watching Iwobi, Ozil and Mkhitaryan give us dog shit performance after dog shit performance on the wings.
I agree we need to improve the defence but the club cannot he criticised for signing a talent like Pepe.
And it’s also worth noting that we’ve clearly identified the defence as a problem area hence the pursuit of Tierney and the signing of Saliba. The club evidently have a long term goal even if I don’t agree with them not actively pursuing a first team CB for this season.
We absolutely needed wide men. Watching Mkhitaryan, Iwobi and whoever else was absolutely dire. We look stocked because we failed to shift players out. Which I have a big problem with.
I’ll look back on him relatively fondly.
I can’t say I really care that he didn’t go on a moneymaking tour of the US.
Cool. And you ridiculed people for pointing out that Emery was a terrible hire.
Only difference is, one of these things happened in the last 5 years. You and @SRCJJ digging into the deep past for comebacks is really kinda pathetic at this point lol.
Great servant to the club and once we know the ins and outs of what happened im prepared not to slag him off. Not the best way to end things but could be he was promised to be allowed to leave by others and things have changed in the management structure and not upheld ? Its interesting why a lot of players have left us under weird reasoning/circumstances ?
Not as pathetic as the way you choose to talk to people at every given opportunity. You’re just a very unpleasant person to deal with. There’s no humility with you. Nothing. You’re just an arrogant man and it’s just really shitty to be around.
I’ve never thought you were a particularly good poster. You’ve always been an agenda driven poster who takes things too far but the last year or so has been totally unbearable.
And sometimes it’s good to be able to remind you that you’re wrong too. So when you adopt you’re sanctimonious attitude, it’s always good to jog your memory and let you know there was a point in time that you - like every other human being that graces this earth - can get things wrong. And when you’re able to wrap your head around that maybe one day you might show an ounce of humility and I might actually be able to enjoy engaging with you in the way that I do with virtually every other person on this forum.
I disagree with a lot of people, but I always enjoy the back and forth with them. With you - it couldn’t be any further from that.
lol. Honestly you’re just mad because I’m one of the few people around here who realises how much shit you talk. Never had any issues with being wrong, never had any problems with saying I was wrong about Ramsey, or Wenger, or even Giroud when he had a good spell before realising I was actually right. Can’t say the same for others…
That’s exactly what it is mate. I’m mad because you’ve managed to expose that I’m actually a shit talker. Glad we’ve gotten to the bottom of that one then.
Glad that’s sorted then
Sorry you don’t get to write another 4 paragraphs about me
Thx for lifting the @SRCJJ response embargo btw. Love, Cuéllar
Get a room, you two…

Feels a bit disrespectful
That is the worst unveiling ever
