Labour and Your Party

Hahahaha the consultation economy again

The PM says people will not be able to work in the UK without a digital ID and the plans will make the country’s borders “more secure”

They already can’t if you enforce what we have and we can secure the borders anytime you decide not to suck.

Speaking from a conference in London, Starmer says progressive politicians have been “squeamish” about addressing illegal migration and saying things that are “clearly true”

Are they running the country? What is he on about?

This shit is being introduced with flawed reasoning

This sounds like the “Real ID” being implemented in the U.S. although that is a physical card.

Curious this comes after Starmer signs that “special deal” with Don Diddler. Hate to be American-centric but ever since Brexit the UK has essentially become America’s lapdog.

For me these national ID changes are more about further marginalizing already marginalized people. Due to budget cuts at the local and state agencies tasked with this, processing times are very long and the application process is tedious and require multiple other forms of ID that are hard to come by.

Most working class people don’t have the luxury of taking an entire day off just to stand in line at the DMV. For that reason the Real ID requirement to fly domestically has been delayed like five times due to the low number of applicants.

Anyway, you’re Americas lapdog and you should grow some balls and stop these halitosis breath having nazis like Farage, and pussies like Starmer, turn you into our new Cleveland.

The Suez and Hong Kong should still be British and we should unlimited access to fish Icelands coastal waters for cod !

Imagine having to take your phone everywhere because it’s got all your details on it. Oh we do already.

One question though, what about people who decide, as is their right, to not have a mobile phone? I have one right now but I don’t like them, I don’t like having to pay increasing costs of owning one and have seriously considered not getting a new one when this one expires.

It really pisses me off that there’s no analogue option to get into the Emirates or gigs these days, my Disabled Railcard has to be digital too. It’s a win-win for the mobile phone companies isn’t it?

About 2 months ago I decided for work reasons because I’m self employed that after work I needed to bin off using my phone and worrying about having it with me all the time because it was 24/7 going off and most of the time for some pointless shit that could’ve waited!

I won’t be forced to have it on me again. Fuck em.

If I have understood the proposal correctly, you wouldn’t need to have show your ID all the time…just for employment purposes i.e. if you are going for a new job. You have to provide details now anyway, so this consolidates everything. Seems very clear this is targeted at policing the right to work in the UK. I can see it being used at interviews as well to prove identity.

I’m off at the moment but my old boss expected us to have our work phones on all day, every day and was apparently pissed-off that I’d switched it off when I went off sick.

He insisted that we were all on Linkedin and all shared his updates, did all the quizzes and basically used it like it was our own social media, posting achievements and shit. The upshot was our work emails and phones were constantly going off, add in the emails from HQ and the Executive team and it was possible to return from a week off to 300-500 emails.

He’s gone but worryingly our new boss is constantly posting empowering nonsense on Linkedin.

That just sounds like a toxic work place mate. Been in plenty of those over the years.

I’m completely shocked that you are willing to believe a Starmer idea is wonderful and fantastic with minimal thought.

Did I say I thought it was wonderful and fantastic?

One of Starmer’s Special Advisors is a member of the Reform Party. That can be the only reason for all these vote-losing ideas that the Government keep coming-up with.

Apple reshaping the AirTag as we speak.

Starmer has full confidence in Phillips.

Must be gutting for her to receive this confirmation that Starmer will be sacking her soon.

Just seen something that Rachel Reeves may be lowering business VAT threshold down to £30k.

I’m a small business owner and I do well enough but I have no interest in growing my business beyond the threshold. It brings extra accounting costs, quarterly vat, price increases and to be honest just hassle I don’t want or need. This would put a nail in the coffin of my business.

Whatever a “working person” is, apparently you’re not one anymore according to Labour.

Given the ‘current climate’ in this country right now. Labour should be really careful in not making a mess of this. What are they hiding?

The aggravation with the threshold for VAT being that low, means any small business will struggle and lose money.

This just shows the contempt they have for working class people and is by far the worst and most anti working class Labour Government there’s been.

They might have won the last election by a landslide but it will be nowhere near as big as the landslide they’ll lose by in the next election.
