Kylian Mbappe

Yes, football wise.
I think if he decides to not move this summer it gets to a personal level, if it hasn’t already.

It’s then all about optics and and who wins the big dick fight. As big a star Mbappe is, the Qataris will eat him alive.

Will they though? If he’s prepared to show up to work every day, but they lock him out of the training center or put him on some sort of leave and try to squeeze him by not paying him all because he won’t sign a new contract? IDK. It sounds a bit actionable to me.

It seems like he wants to leave with as much money as possible to go play in Madrid and PSG want to extract a transfer fee to save face. Those two things seem totally incompatible at the moment.

I just don’t know what they could do to him really. They’re a nothing club without him imo. Not even the Jordan Brand collabs can hide that fact.

Maybe. I would just be very, very surprised if we could actually get him.

I actually quite like us not having a talismanic striker and that our goals come from all over the pitch, I fell like that would change if we had a striker of his calibre.

Yep, agreed. I think there is a nice balance going with Saka, Martinelli, Jesus, Odegaard and potentially Havertz now too contributing with goals and assists. Then you have guys like Trossard as well who have proven to be very reliable too.

Get what you’re saying, but I could care less if he came in and won us PL and CL. He’d have to buy into the system abs I think he could fit it. And I bet our current boys still get plenty of goals. Don’t feel he’d change the way we play quite the same as a striker like Haaland.

Doubt we’d get him, but I can dream for a bit.

He comes here, play for a season or two, then ask for either a pay raise or bonus or transfer.

No guarantee he will win us a CL but we are already contender of the league.

Personally, I don’t like asshole and he is one

I agree.
As good as he is, Mbappe is far too disruptive and self obsessed to be a team player so will certainly suit a club like Real Madrid, who have had several prima donnas.

The more I think about it, the more a 1 year stint in Saudi makes sense.

PSG will probably be able to recoup a significant fee. Mbappe will gets paid an astronomical amount before heading to his preferred destination.

There’s no way Saudi do business with Qatar and bail them out by giving PSG massive money.

There’s a lot of tension between the two nations.

Remember when KSA had some weird bootleg sports network called like BOUT to throw shade at Qatar’s BEIN? The height of pettiness. But it was also around the same time there was a blockade iirc so it wasn’t all just shithouse behavior.

Those tensions have cooled a little recently iirc.

Dont want this guy at all.

Massive diva and way to much baggage and bad vibes.

He thinks he’s too big for PSG. That’s why he acts like such an arrogant cunt.

Real Madrid on the other hand is bigger than him. They’ve had better players at that club. Perhaps that might adjust his attitude.

Tbf to him what evidence do we have that he’s wrong? He was able to bend the club to his will with that last contract.

Frankly, he is too good for PSG, but still no need to be this arrogant. He was the one that took the money and made the moved. That’s my issue when players get all pissy when a club doesn’t want to sell or places a huge price tag on him. At the same time, the club were al so stupid enough to pay him the money and continue to spend big bringing in 3 primas. That won’t work if they all decide they want to play their way. PSG has never been a team since the big spending started. That why they won’t win the CL.

PSG also don’t have a leg to stand on. If a club Mbappe wants doesn’t come in for me and pay what PSG want, then he has every right to run down his contract. If they do bench him for the season, they’ll be sending a huge message to any other top players they go after. These players will either want leaglly binding assurances in their contract or will not join them, especially if other big clubs are in for them.

Truth is, we know nothing. Only the persona the media have created about MBappe.
