I think Mbappe is better overall at this stage but Haaland definitely more impressive to begin this season, and a huge factor is Haaland doing it in the PL against high level pros whereas Kylian is still playing against gardeners and milkmen in Ligue 1.
I wasn’t talking about who’s the best of the two, Haaland was the flavour of the month before the WC.
Meanwhile Mbappe this year:

Goals have dried up recently. Tell you this, had Kane played for City he would have been on more goals. I doubt Haaland gets 12 goals for Spurs 14 games into the league.

Haaland simply breaks the mould
He is bringing something that only one other #9 in world football can match and that is an ability to score more goals than games played, I can’t be sacrificing that level of hitting even for someone who is a more complete player in Kane at this point in their careers.
