Brilliant, but not surprised by the goal in the slightest. It was always obvious the guy had bags of ability.
I just hope at least this inspires the terrorist not to play him as a CB ever again.

He was a wishlist signing for me before we got him, didnât believe the club would show the kind of foresight to go and spend the money on him before any other top club did.
Kind of player that will have the spot nailed for a decade will top quality consistency, heâs been done a disservice playing LCB because heâs capable of greatness just being allowed to bomb up and down.
Add in his old head personality and you have one of the few truly loveable players weâve seen in years.

This is exactly the type of player who should be a team captain. Like @Joshua always says he has the right type of passion. He set the tone for tonight. Fuck the weather, fuck being tired, grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck, drove forward, nearly crippled the West Brom right back, and scored a banger with his weaker foot. Guy is the real deal.

Not true. He was dropping in as a LCB when defending. He was still covering that whole left side with Saka, Auba or AMN depending on who else played with him on that side.
Has always been quality however we used him.
