He was shite the other day and he is not a good footballer. Sell.
Agreed. We would have gotten away with it against West Ham ffs. He did overlap a few times and cause some dangerous moments.
Didnāt he deliver the Jesus could have converted where it only needed a slight touch?
Fine margins of being seen as a match winner and being seen as a burden.
sometimes at the same timeā¦helps us win a game but at the same time you cant help think that it would have been an easier win if he wasnt playing and was upgraded.
But thatās fair enough as cover though.
he does a job for sure, just feels so clunky now though.
Privately, heās valued at Ā£30m. And publicly?
We arenāt a serious club if we sell him to them
He strengthens Newcastle but does he make much of a difference to City?
They donāt have a natural left back. However, Tierney would be a strange fit for their style and system(s).
Think Tierney has been stiffed a bit this season. Arteta playing him in that inverted LB role was massively flawed instead of just adjusting and playing him in a role that best suits him.
They are devastating going forward already and solid defensively with those they already have that they can deploy at LB. Ake was out but Ankanji slots in without skipping a beat against us.
Selling Tierney for 30mill accomplishes nothing for us. Weād probably need to spend at least 30 on a half decent back up anyways. I highly doubt theyād be better and in the mean time we strengthen a rival.
Imagine being able to call City a rival. Despite obvious flaws canāt help but feel excited for whatās to come if we do have a good summer
If we are selling to city then has to be 40-50 at a minimum but knowing us will let him go cheap on the basis heās only been a bit part player this season.
Completely agree. Tierney would offer a completely new option though Tactically. Heās good defensively as well.
If he wants to play every week, signing for City isnāt the move.
I mean, they sold us Jesus and Zinchenko and almost lost the league because of it.
