Ā£35-40m is about what I’d expect is to get.

Ooft I’d hope so.

Be very good business if we could get that.

Problem is we’ve seen Zinchenko fail multiple times in his main duty as a defender.

If we sell Tiereny we’ll need to sign an equal or better quality player.

I think we risk becoming weaker if he leaves.

I’m very curious to see how he’ll hold up in the CL next season defensively. Not been impressed this season

I have my doubts and would like a different type of LB tbh

Really can’t understand why people are at a loss over Tierney. I like the kid but he has looked mentally checked out for a while now, clearly doesn’t fit our system and has also been as vaunerable at the back as Zinchenko without offering any of the good stuff.

Wish him well but his time is done here, even the player seems to know that much.

Agree 100 percent. Getting 40m would be wonderfull business for a player we dont really need.

Yups, getting anything north of £30m for KT is brilliant business. Akin to the AOC, Iwobi and Joe Willock deals. Make it happen, Arsenal!

As long as he’s replaced adequately as clear Zin can’t be relied on over a season. And the candidate to step into that role can’t be named Tavares.

I’m at a loss at the prospect of losing Tierney. I think he seems like a very genuine guy who is an old fashioned footballer that has worked very hard since arriving at the club. He offers something very different to Zinny and I think he is an all round and good defender. I also think we have other transfer priorities this summer to work on first, i.e. midfield, so I am concerned that by selling Tierney we give ourselves more work to source a replacement LB. The Ā£30m fee seems very low for a quality PL player, and I don’t think we should be selling so cheaply to a PL rival in Newcastle. I don’t agree that he has checked out. I think he has remained very professional this season. Any player that is happy to be on the bench isn’t a player I want at Arsenal. I suppose I just really like the player, and found it so refreshing to have someone like him at Arsenal. If he does get sold, we need to be getting Ā£40m+ for him. I’ll be sad to see him go but will wish him all the best.

From games I saw him live pre and post injury, he appeared to have lost a yard of pace - he made less of his runs forward on the overlap and seemed unwilling to try to take on players for pace like he did previous.

Personally OK with him going, whilst he offers something different, he doesn’t offer a big enough improvement defensively compared to what is lost without Zinchenko.

Talked about their favourite Tierney moment from his Arsenal career on this weeks arsecast. Both agreed this and I instantly thought the same

Gotta wonder how much of that is his injury and how much of that is down to instructions from the manager.

The opposition were ā€˜frozen’ there…

Rumours really died down about him. Newcastle have already been linked with various different fullbacks.
Reckon he doesn’t move till August.

for £5m paid in 25 installments.

Set to stay?

if he’s happy to be rotation then keep him, no arguments from me

The understanding is that Arteta plans to regularly set up in a three-man backline next term, with Tierney ideal for such a system
