I did notice during the game when the City players were clueless on what to do they just passed it to him regardless if he was in a good position to receive the ball.
I don’t think he does tbh. City have even taken the decision that they can’t afford the luxury of him not being a regular starter on whatever it is he’s earning.

Well since we don’t appear to be linked with any other attacking mid, I can’t think of a better move to backup and support Odegaard tbh.
Was fully against it but that’s a few times in recent weeks he’s still controlled the game for city and looked like the one to make something happen. His mind is elite and he can clearly contribute when not asked to play 90 mins all the time.
If he’s looking for 400k then obv not but 200k-250k? For a year? Okay.
They’re going for a big refresh, in a way I get it. I’m not sure I’d have him here but I can see him being quite good elsewhere, even a regular starter in some other Top 5 league.
