Was expecting it to be his birthday today

Happy birthday!

That languid style of his is such a joy to watch. He was some player. Imagine having a player like him on the bench.

Some of the things Partey does remind my of Kanu.

When talking about natural talent on the ball he might be the most talented player I’ve seen at Arsenal. His touch is just outrageous (Mesut has a rapist touch compared to him).

Even at Portsmouth, when he had no pace and was barely moving on the pitch he was still able to make a difference on top level with his skills and intelligence. A ridiculous footballer.

Can’t believe he’s 60 already.

The second goal shows how ridiculously good this guy was when he was on form. That touch was absolutely perfect and so well calculated it bought him space when he had very little. He had no business getting away from all them defenders with one touch

One of the most underrated strikers in the premier league era.

Best hattrick of the PL era?

It’s definitely up there.

Unfortunately we’ve had a few scored against us that would be in the conversation.

Bergkamp vs. Leicester for me

Definitely one of the most talented one’s….

Outrageous technical ability, skill, intelligence and creativity.

Never thought he was a great goalscorer, but watching at that hattrick again I do wonder what a record he would have had if he maybe played for a slightly weaker team, as an out and out starter. Never had that much chance, as a regular, next to all the quality we had in those years.

Shame I didn’t get to see him while he still had good athleticism and pace. Was still brilliant to watch a even few years later with the other qualities he had, but was quite something with that pace and footwork in the younger years.

That Chelsea game and Kanu hattrick !?
