Kai Havertz (29)

I’m talking in general for the team not situationally.

Of course Gyok will be #1 for now because both Jesus and Kai need to be managed fitness wise. When Kai is up and running he’ll be the starter as he’s the one who’s proven he suits the team.

Gyok has to try and displace him.

Havertz will be number 1 by the start of next month. Gyokeres can’t even complain.

Agreed but I think (hope) Gyokeres could become a better prospect off the bench.

If Havertz can manage our last 2 months fully fit, I’d be thrilled. We will win stuff.

We haven’t seen that at all during his time here! Think we win stuff with Kepa upfront this season.

Seriously?

Kai is like Mikel’s son there’s no way he doesn’t get back as the number 1

Totally agree. As soon as Kai is fit, he’ll be starting ahead of Gyokeres.

Well, if that’s the case he benched his son who had a full preseason for Gyok in the opener against Man Utd.

Think Gyokeres will be our first choice for the foreseeable future.
I’d like to be proven wrong though because I do think at this point it’d be best for him and us to play as a sub.

I hope not and I think not.

Pretty sure Havertz was carrying a knock?

That was the game he got the injury I believe.

No doubt Kai will play when he is fit, he is the teacher’s pet. The question is will he play as a lone striker or in a different role together with Gyok. Knowing Arteta he might opt for the latter, part of the reason he loves Kai is he can be used in multiple positions

Kai, Ode and Saka…

These 3 are Mikel’s actual sons. No chance they don’t start if they’re fit and available.

He’ll drag them out the injury ward himself if he could for these 3 lol.

Amazed he didn’t get on today ahead of Jesus. Jesus up against two big physical CBs was always gonna be a mismatch.

I think another week or so and he would have been on.

Don’t worry guys, he’ll save us soon enough!

Can’t wait to swap cb shagging for missing headers from 5 yards.

Fact of the matter is all of our strikers are shit. All of them.

There isn’t a single one I am comfortable with leading the line for this club.

Kai, Jesus are known for missing sitters.

Gyok is just an all-round terrible footballer.

Martiinelli the same.

Saka doesn’t score anymore and is barely 50% as good as he was a year ago…

It’s just Trossard that is having a good season atm - and that seems to be a purple patch, but we’ll dry up and regress too.

Yeah…

What we want to see once Havertz is back - 2012 Van Persie.

What we’ll get - out of form Kai, probably worse than in his middle of the last season form, when he was missing the goal from half a yard.

It will take him some time to get back in proper shape. Even though he suits our play the most out of all our strikers, it was telling he didn’t came on today. He’s still far away from his best form.

It will take a month surely to get there.

I think he’ll get a goal fairly soon and everyone will get a hard on. Then he’ll go a bit the way of Jesus.

Hopefully one of the three learns how to score regularly. At least Kai is/was good in our build up.

I think it was the timing. He didn’t have 40 minutes in him and Arteta didn’t want to leave Gyok out there. If the subs had come 65th minute reckon it would have been him. Then the final sub… toss up and he went Eze
