It was already trending that way but I think the club is doubling down on youth even more now.
Jesus is 28, Havertz is 26, Gyokeres is 27. I think the club will be keen to add an U23 striker if they do enter the market for one again.

There were Defoe highlights on the tele at some point recently. Never mind he was a spurs player, even someone of his level would be far better than what we have currently.

Yeah from the bench. Gyok needs to start this one and have his chance against toss defenders.
Worst case he still flops but would be a shame not to give him the potential confidence boosting game.

Gyok is a lost cause and probably needs a break anyway, Iād rather give the start to Jesus and hope he can play himself into form.
Hopefully a month or two from now Havertz will start every important match, Jesus the primary sub and rotation option, and Gyok plays some less important matches while looking at real estate in Saudi Arabia.

Might have to worry about it when we get there, IF we get there with our constant injuries, but a senior player will have to hang out with Nwaneri when all of our forwards our fit.

Havertz had so many great qualities beyond scoring goals though that his floor was always going to be very high. There was never a question that he was going to be a very useful player for us, just a question about his ceiling.

I think taking Gyokeres out of the firing line is the best thing to do right now.

Nah, letās keep it fair, the majority of the fanbase were still on Kaiās case till January.
A lot of people were calling him useless, some argued Arteta ruined the team by signing him.
I think that performance up top against Liverpool in the FA Cup did open up some eyes on what he could be and then he followed it up by a fantastic run in 2024.
If Amorim was still incharge I honestly think a no fee swap of Gyok and Sesko could have a occurred

People might have been on him but they were shortsighted and giving him a hard time without appreciating his qualities.
IMO, not the case with Gyokeres.

And not a moment too soon. Donāt have the luxury this season to see Gyok can contribute in a meaningful way anymore and Jesus is probably only good for sub cameos now. Second half of the season is on and the margins will be getting tighter.
