That’s amazing.

Havertz has got fans?

I wonder if I have superfans hiding somewhere

They’ve got his Leverkusen kit as well?

Probably all knock offs for under a tenner.

Golden Boot and Balon D’or this season. I can sense it.

Might be time to get your senses checked, mate :winking_face_with_tongue:

And here I thought @Truth_hurts was genuine about his Havertz praise in the Preseason thread.

The nearest Havertz will get to the Golden Boot is lacing it up for Gyokeres.

To match a performance, also made in Hong Kong.

Today is the only pre season game I’ve watched. Thought he worked hard. He’s done a decent job up front, but we need to stop pissing around and get Gyokeres up front as soon as possible.

I mean, not that it says much becat we were overall shit so the bar was low but he was one of the better performers. Certainly looks fit.

I would’ve liked to see him and Gyokeres share the pitch to be honest. Hopefully we see at the Emirates Cup. In the second half when Spurs practically parked the bus. I thought we could use two strikers in the box.

I think this exchange just about sums up his performance today

Was quite shocking on the ball at times

I thought he was decent on the ball(his hold up specifically) in first half bar that chance he fluffed.
Second half I saw the complaints in the thread but I didn’t really see what he did so bad. Team overall was a bit flat until the subs.

I wouldn’t really single him out today. I think there are plenty of others to pick from.
I know @Truth_hurts mentioned Odegaard too but to be completely honest, I thought he was the best(by some distance) in that midfield trio with Rice and Norgaard.

Rice does not look fit at all and Norgaard seemed lost half the time.

:pires:

Admittedly Havertz did give one of my favourite moments of today’s game, although a low bar, when he slammed into Spence

I’m still waiting for someone to mention what he did so bad in that second half. I barely saw him get on the ball other than when he set up Martinelli.

Lol, VAR in the PL would’ve had a look at it, guaranteed.
And I wouldn’t blame them to be honest, Kai is a mischievous little prick. He was on the verge of two footing Djed.

I mentioned Odegaard for being trash, not because I thought he was good FFS!

That’s what I meant. That you singled him for being bad.
