He was supposed to go this summer with El Nesyri coming in but he seems to have impressed Mou, they decided to keep him and he’s actually kept El Nesyri on the bench for now.
We were talking the other day about strikers of his generation, he was certainly one of the better ones.

Initially, sure. But his behaviour has been heavily scrutinized the past decade.
The fact the media are liking Mikel to him recently isn’t as a positive(although as far as I’m concerned, it is).
Currently, media love to hate on coaches with attitudes.
What’s the point in that.
He is away from any repurcussions of such criticism.
Meanwhile they changed laws to restrict Arteta’s movements.
