Classic case of player not up to the intensity of the game when he dawdled on the ball. This ain’t Brentford, Jorg
I just hope this doesn’t affect him long term, in the rest of the season. We’ll still need him.
As said, this is the first time he’s put a foot wrong since he joined the club as far as I can remember. A horrible mistake in a horrible moment, but no need to slam him as if he’s some scrub/liability.
He fucked that up big time.
Only thing I can say is it might of helped if he played more than 45mins total so far this season. But that was just a fatal error and we didn’t need it.
I’m a fan but what he did today was foolish and wholly unacceptable. Ridiculous decision making.
His wife posted a story of someone abusing her and their kid for Jorginho’s mistake yesterday.
Some really peculiar morons out there.
That can’t be an Arsenal fan surely.
More like like a spurs fan in disguise.
Jorginho is the guy you bring on when you’re already winning and need to rest players. Or when you play a lower league team in a cup. Or that last CL game when you’ve already guaranteed top spot in the group.
I pray Rice and Partey recover quickly.
Well, actually, it kind of is brainless if it’s one moment out of a large sample size which differs from that one specific moment. It’s fair to criticise the mistake specifically but painting it as evidence of anything further wouldn’t be accurate.
Solid performance. Protected the defence well and did the job he was supposed to do.
Totally forgiven for the Spuds fuck up.
Make up that mistake… good job today
Some of his clips over the top innthe first half were brilliant. What a player to have in the squad.
Fantastic squad option, glad to see him show his usual quality after that mad moment against Spurs.
He didn’t need to make up anything for me. We all make mistakes.
Thought he was brilliant today. This is the best midfield we have in decades
Never expected anything less. If anything I expected even more.
A top player. Brilliant to have his experience and quality as an option in these games. He’ll play an important role this season.
I’m sure Pep is a bit jealous of Arteta, and not having a guy like him to cover for Rodri.
One of the most ridiculous things you saw on this forum was seeing some people suggest we should have never bought him after that mistake vs Spurs.
That’s very gracious. He’ll always need to make up for just being Jorginho imo.
They went cheap on Rice.
Nothing can be complained
We arguably got lucky w Jorginho because he was very cheap comparatively.
Veteran’s price
