I think a lot of it stems from the 2-1 loss in Tets first home game where he should have been sent of and scored the equalizer.

It’s not so much us disliking him, it’s that Chelsea have a proud history of selling us their rejects.

On the one hand 10m and a short contract is a small price to pay to have the bodies necessary to win the league. It’s a shrewd pivot and I’ve got no issues with a short term rental to get us over the line at a price that won’t saddle us with a Cedric-esque deadwood signing.

Tbf, Chelsea announced Cucurella in the summer and Brighton said denied it. It happened later on but there’s always shit that can happen. You never know.
