Damn everything tanked to end the day huh
Should’ve sold my DKNG shares earlier like I thought, could’ve had them back even cheaper than before 
Rollercoaster continues.
Chucked some money in Nvidia and S&P500 earlier. Haven’t really invested much in my adult life as I used to put everything back into the business and more recently been focused on paying down my mortgage as quick as possible.
Now I’m a dumb employee, I actually have way more spare coin so figured it’s time to get back into stocks.
Anyone got any good sites/resources to keep up with things?
I know fuck all about investing, etc., but if you’re buying low, why not hang in for the long term (say, a couple or a few years) on stuff like Nvidia or any other stock you’d deem has a good shelf life? The current craziness isn’t permanent, nothing ever is, and if you can wait it out wouldn’t that be the best course? Bear in mind my opening phrase, though.

A cynic could suggest that some people within or close to the administration have been busy buying cheap stocks safe in the knowledge that President Cun…I mean Trump would abandon his plans at the 11th hour. They’re all grifters after all.

The whole market is manipulated to fuck, GameStop proved that if it wasn’t already obvious before.
The one time retail got together and they ended up getting screwed every which way possible by the market makers.
Trump just playing the game.

Just sold all my PLTR and NVDA that I bought on Friday.
Will be some profit taking tomorrow I’m sure but if not I’ve made some healthy gains.
Trumpy turned you into a swing trader.
I set my DKNG sell order at 36 then pushed it to 37 and we’ve not hit it

Agreed. Not gonna lie, as a trader by occupation I do see the behaviours of casual retail day trading worrying.
All the banks and big institutions have invested hugely into algos and one thing for sure is nobody casually can make a living from day trading.
I swear to you that is true and anyone who tells you otherwise is a con man.
