Howard Webb and his Cabal of Cunts

I thought he was garbage and he’d have gladly screwed us if the game was a little even. He was too eager on the whistle all game.
The free kick against Martinelli was a joke, those are never ever given. Then gave a penalty for a scramble in the box on the first occasion he could and needlessly carded Jesus for an innocuous foul.

Yeah he was okay but had some weird moments. For example that moment where Partey was tackled by 3 Brentford players, hoe do you card none of them but card Jesus for his first foul?

That foul just outside the box (Martinelli) was declared obvious but when Saka was tackled by Tyron Mings pundits said it would be soft penalty if given.

Being far from goal is what saved him.

Getting the rub of the green the rent boys, decisions vs West Ham and Palace have really given them fortunate wins.

No complaints from us. But Liverpool fans aren’t happy.

Without a doubt we benefited from VAR today.

Pen was soft. Handball was never, too close. Fabinho got away without a yellow for kicking the ball away because he’d just come on. Tsimikas should’ve seen yellow at least, if not red.

Gomez deserved his and I think Partey got away with one.

Cry some more bin dipping bastards.

Fuck Michael Oliver. No way in hell is he biased towards Arsenal.

Just see our game v Wolves last season for evidence.

Big teams always get these decisions

Did we? I think we only benefitted from the pen which was given by the ref.

Not sure about Saka on the first goal but Nunez was also off and interfering on theirs.

I was 100 percent convinced VAR would have given that lol. Was ready to slate Gabriel being a clown again.

Imagine my surprise when the commentator said no penalty :joy:

Saw some people saying Martinelle should have been penalized for the way he injured TAA. Not really buying that, he gave a cross and has to put his foot somewhere after that.

Besides that, yeah we were lucky today. Love it.

It doesn’t look much in slow motion but at actual speed, Thiago’s tackle does enough to , at the very least, take the ball away from Jesus; even if you don’t think it’s enough to impede Jesus from going to the lost ball.

The foul by Odegaard on Eriksen was no more of a foul than Thiago on Jesus, one cost us a goal and one gave us a goal, happy it levelled out…

The Gabriel handball, well I’m glad it wasn’t given live as I doubt they’d overturn it if it was.

Van Djik stomped on Jesus in the build up to Saka’s goal at the end of the half. Oliver played advantage, should have been booked after the goal.

But yeah, pretty rich for Liverpool to complain about officiating given the number of breaks they’ve been given the last few years.

The salt from the Liverpool fans is pretty delicious.

I do especially love the idea that Michael Oliver is a super biased official in Arsenal’s favor. Yeah, the guy who gave Martinelli two yellows for a single passage of play for no other reason than he wanted to make himself the main character of the match is super biased in favor of Arsenal.

The truth is that he’s just not a very good official just like most of the PL officials. I’d be shocked if we see a single English official past the group stages in the WC.

Their reaction to yesterday is basically what 90% of this thread looks like lol.

Sections of every fanbase think they’re justified in claiming a refereeing conspiracy against their side, it’s just a lot easier to see it for the silly conspiratorial nonsense that it is when it’s coming from fans of a rival team.
