The non-sense about not reviewing yellow card instances need to die.
If they did their job, Wolves would have been fairly a man down.
We didnāt deserve to win but that was definitely a penalty for the foul on Hincapie. Not sure how they can say otherwise lol kicks him from behind, zero touch on the ball, and also pushes him. Itād be nice to hear the justifications becuase thereās no world where thatās not a foul.

The 2nd yellow is more of an issue for me - Tierney is a useless ref when it comes to us and every game he oversees of ours, it feels like we donāt get decisions we deserve. But when it is more or less where the ball is heading how does neither the ref or the linesman see the shoulder barge on Trossard? If they are not aware of that, what are they actually looking at? they are not fit to be officials
We operate in a league where this was enough contact for a red (and a double jeopardy penalty, no less), and since that day, I havenāt believed we will ever get refereeād in the same way as any other club.

Having only seen a couple of clips on twitter, I donāt think it was a pen.
Could have been given but not one to really have a standing gripe with imo. Weāve been done much worse in the past.
Sure, if you donāt think kicking through a player, completely missing the ball and kicking their leg as well as a push is not a foul, then I can see why youād say that.
Itās a foul every day of the week and a foul in the box is a penalty.
Itās not an excuse as to why we lost. That was because we played like fucking dogshit.

If they he ref had given it as I said he could have, then VAR would stick with the call but they aināt overturning that soft ass contact.
I didnāt think it was a penalty, I canāt remember the ref doing anything particularly wrong last night, VAR worked for once otherwise we would have lost.
I know all of us can reach for examples where weāve been on the end of incorrect interpretations of the rules, itās true that VAR has been generally shit and that half of EPL referees arenāt up to the job. And I know the inconsistencies are infuriating but that doesnāt justify giving more wrong or ridiculously soft decisions.
The penalty call falls into the latter category.
That is why Pep is comfy keeping guys on yellow cards on the field. The amounts of 2nd yellows they should have had over the years is huge but they NEVER happen. When was the last time these scumbags had a red card, but yet again it would be waved away with the āthey play fairā bs.

You see some decisions and itās hard not to wonder whether the officials have āhad a flutterā on the result or some other incident within games.
Notably the FA have refused to even acknowledge my requests for information about whether referees have drug tests and have their affairs monitored for any evidence of financial wrong-doing.
