Yea qas obviously gonna happen and just a matter of a process being concluded. The Klopp video was enough to do it and the other obe just sealed his fate.
Theyâre really trying to make it sound like the PGMOL are stamping their foot down, their earlier tweet said he was âsuspended with immediate effectâ. The last three words arenât required, heâs suspended, thatâs enough. Now theyâve said heâs been sacked âwith immediate effectâ. Again, unnecessary.
It took over 4 weeks for them to assess the case and sack him. Iâm assuming they sent the clips to VAR to study and draw the lines.
scapegoat to themâŚlets face it all of them are dodgy as hell.
HR is gonna HR no matter what.
I really hope it never happens but if someone loses their career to a challenge like this i hope they sue Howard Webb personally.
Dereliction of duty by the ref and VAR and the FA who should be stepping in after the fact regardless of the on field outcome.
Wtf
Seriously how the fuck was it not given a red cardâŚevery viewing makes it look worse
I thought studs up like that was a red anyway regardless of injury? Same as two footed challenges?
As always, VAR is not the problem, the motherfuckers who operates the VAR and determined the regulations and applications are.
Delaying the restart of a game is a yellow, so it is equivalent to a horrific tackle that could end someoneâs career.
Fuck them.
But that in itself makes VAR a problem. I have no trouble believing the ref thought that probably looked really bad but went with the yellow because it can always be changed if the VAR thinks it warrants it.
If the implementation is a problem then the system is a problem.
Itâs literally varâs job to catch stuff like this.
How long will UEFA and FIFA allow this shit refereeing standard to go on?
Webb is doing a shit job and these guys arenât accountable to anyone.
There will be consequences Iâm sure at some point.
Fuck Jamie Carragher spittycunt and ratface for defending these nobs all the time.
PGMOL needs reform
Well, the one thing we can all accept is the referee has failed in his most important duty, to protect the safety of the 22 players. Only giving a yellow is an absolute howler and VAR should have overturned it, like weâve seen them do in the past.
- Standards of officials at the top level are appalling.
- The use and reliance of VAR is inconsistent.
- The quality of the systems theyâre using for VAR is Windows 95 level.
- The standards and understanding of the gameâs rules on the VAR team is also appalling.
All VAR has done has shone a light on how much worse referees are now these days and how nonsensical some of the rule changes have been over the last few decades.
All the better refs who understand the game and donât want to be the star of the show get stuck doing non-league because theyâre not âyes menâ so you end up with charisma-less robots who are cowards doing the top games.
Fuck me thatâs really bad!
This is the type of thing I meant when I was discussing with Trion the other day.
Without VAR that ref mightâve given the red card right away (again we donât know for sure) but now he can give a yellow thinking thereâs a safety net if it is actually that bad and deserving a red.
Another example of the poor quality of refereeing now.
I donât even think thereâs anything wrong with treating it as a safety net. If it works. Which it doesnât.
They are actually thick cunts
A gang of pricks
That rule lasted a couple of weeks. Now itâs just ignored ![]()
Say like, fuck them??
Letter of law?
