If PSG wins that Covid CL*** I wonder what the discussion about Bayern would be like right now. People talk about them as if it’s still 2013, they haven’t been at the forefront of European football in terms of talent, tactics or relevancy for a while now

Even with the dominance Bayern have in Germany, 12 league titles in a row is still fucking ridiculous.
If we have to play Bayern this season I think a few people on here might have to revise what they think of them.

Barca is down rn sure but winning La Liga carries alot more weight than whatever winning Bundesliga means.
Bayern will get slapped by any top side in the CL, you will see. I want them, I just hope Tuchel isn’t sacked before we meet them

Bayern are a huge club, stacked with talent. They pretty much always reach the (much) latter stages of the Champions Leagues and they way that they’ve victimised us in the competition, as Gooner we definitely should not be trying to downplay them.
Two things can be true though - the Bundesliga is crap.
That’s true but they also got turned down by several top players before they paid almost 100m for a thirty year old player in the last season of his contract.
As I said before, if they’re a genuine elite club, who else have they got that would get into our starting line up?
Agree, Bayern are garbage and it’s shown all summer with any player who had another option turning them down.
Stumbled over the line to their own bayernliga title last year thanks to Dortmund being uselsss shitcunts and got slapped by city like any ordinary PL club. Kane took an easy way out for a guaranteed trophy (although he simply had to), there’s even less pressure on him now than when he was at spurs imo.

Nope, at spurs he was the main man who had to do everything and if he had an off day they likely lost.
At Bayern if he bangs 20-25 goals across all comps he’ll be just fine. They have plenty of better players than spurs and don’t solely rely on Kane, plus they’ve had no striker since Lewa so anything he does is a bonus.
Spurs sacked a coach before a cup final ffs. They aren’t serious.

Don’t forget that Bayern is one of the most decorated clubs in Europe and are expected to not only win their league but compete for the CL every season as well, that’s more pressure than he ever had at Spurs
