The kids are old enough to enjoy it, so now I have to participate. Gotta say the kids looked damn cute in their costumes

We live in a neighbourhood of young families and we had just ONE knock on the door. That kid ended up with a lot of candy.

Had so many trick or treaters last night, but to be fair I had set up the outside of the house to make it obvious they could come and visit.
I have to give it to them though, as soon as I’d run out of sweets and boxes of raisins, (I made them close their eyes and do a lucky dip 
), and took down the decorations and lights, nobody bothered me for the rest of the evening…

I didn’t know this until I moved out to a rural area but people put out pumpkins and the parents/kids only go to those pumpkin houses to trick or treat.
No little fuckers came to this grumpy household

We had about 10-11 groups of kids turn up and gave out a mix of mini chocolate bars and star mix haha
Decorated the flat outside as well to let the kids know.
The kids were pretty cute and polite tbh, always a fun experience.
Not having my toddler being woken up after all the effort it takes getting her down at night because some random kids want me to give em sweets lol
Used to buy a few big bags of sweets to give out to kids before i had one of my own
