Xhaka was our longest serving player and, despite being decent last season, heās cost us more points than any other player and was often a liability so 25m is a very good deal for us.

Way I see it is heās an attacking minded midfielder who was wrongly played as a defensive mid for several years until someone saw the light. It doesnāt excuse all the rash and head loss moments, but he was never suited to that role in this league.
Slight changes in positions and roles make the world of difference. Lets hope the manager has envisioned a transformation for Havertz PL career as well.

Think it was time we had an upgrade on him, but I also admire the way he tried to turn his Arsenal career around and had a spelndid season last year. I honestly wish him well in Germany.
