My MOTM. This guy was everywhere today. You can just tell he was enjoying himself out there with all the aggression the game was demanding.
Highlight was his slide tackle to stop Willock from scoring, what a moment.

Got dispossessed easily a few times but other than that, can’t fault him. He managed to not get himself into trouble even though this was exactly the kind of game he’d normally do something stupid in so that shows growth from him. And that tackle on Willock was exquisitely timed and executed.
Ref was probably licking his lips at the thought of giving a pen when he see xhaka begin that slide

would be good for Leverkusen, I’m sure they’ll get money this summer, I expect one or more of Frimpong, Diaby and Wirtz to leave for good money (even if Bayern cheapskate them).
Don’t think he’ll leave though, I’m sure he considers himself central in this Arteta rebuild regardless of what we think.
I think Xhaka will want to stay and be part of an Arsenal CL campaign for the first since since his first season at us in 16/17.
Can see him leaving in 12 months.
