No matter how hard he tries, the idiot in him always wins. And Arteta is an idiot to rely on him.
I’ve never seen anything in him to be a starter for any PL team, let alone us.
He constantly makes mistakes, he’s physically and mentally slow, he gives away penalties and free kicks but worse than that, he’s actually getting worse.
For a footballer rated so highly by Arteta, I would like to know what exactly is his area of expertise and what he brings to the team.
He’s a liability and could lose Arteta his job if he doesn’t get rid of him.
I’ve never disliked a player more.
He is by far the worst captain we’ve had and is down there with Denilson as one of the worst midfielders we’ve had.

That tackle was nothing but a cope out.
He knows he is beaten but instead of finding a solution that would require observing how the opponent handles the ball & capitalise on a mistake, he decided to go for the quick option to be done with the situation.

Never was that a red card .
When you look at the striker he went down smiling and holding onto Xhaka’s leg .
The striker ends up on the deck facing the ref smiling away while his teammates are celebrating.

Nah, only excuse for Xhaka was that he didn’t see the player. But in the replays you can see him having a quick glimpse of Jota.
Think the red is fair. Jota was one on one with the keeper if he wasn’t fouled.
Real crime is, that if he just got closer due to Ramsdale position, Jota be under enough pressure to not control the ball.
