Granit Xhaka

I mean it could just be propoganda from the club to try and keep the fans onside

Hahah. He’s an actual psychopath.

Imagine his press conferences in 10 years when he’s our manager.

What with Arteta being linked to managerial jobs with Man City and PSG, after he’s finished his apprenticeship with us, and Xhaka saying we’re playing a lot better, it seems like our PR machine is in full swing.

We might have a mid table team with an underwhelming manager but our PR department is absolutely top quality.

Things are clearly better once more

No they fucking ain’t, it’s still shite.

A bit of Xhaka shaming to balance out the praise in Partey’s thread.

Majority of them has to be under Wenger right?
I wonder how many of those were under Arteta. Reckon it’s 1-2.

Edit: This says 2 so far this season, and 0 for last season.

That’s the only way Xhaka leaves at this stage.
It has to be him requesting the move. We’ll see.

If we were to sell him, how much should we sell him for?
I’m thinking Ā£30-40m.

Bow down.

You’ll have people laughing at your valuation and saying they’d take a fiver for him. But in all seriousness he is one of our players who does hold a decent value. Maybe not Ā£40m decent, but could see us getting Ā£25m for him if we sold him this summer.

His value is in his durability and the fact we had to build a midfield around him. We’ve spent five years and three managers devising systems to hide his weaknesses. He’s been good to great since the Burnley red card but it’s no shock that the midfield has gone into the toilet since he showed up on the scene. He’s just too limited.

I’m used to it. Gotta call it how it is though despite the hate.
For me, if he keeps his form up till the end of the season he’ll be in the shortlist for Player of the Season.

Right now he is a key asset to Arteta. We’ll probably spend over Ā£30m for his replacement so we gotta sell him for something around that range too.

If it were across 2020-21 season, I would have agreed but no Saka has been the best player; and if Tierney wasn’t injured, he would have been ahead too.

He’s also got almost 100 international caps as well and is highly regarded by team mates/managers.

I believe Saka was close second based on those ratings.

Hahahhaahahhahahaha

Love how tackles interceptions red cards mistakes made accurate long balls behind the lines. Just anything useful was just ignored.

Instead it’s like 3 out of 6 telling us he sits deep in our half often in the defensive line and passes forward. Prayers for these Twitter nobbas

What’s most impressive is that he’s got that many international caps when there are so many world class Swiss central midfielders who can’t get a look in.
