Granit Xhaka

He was basically saying, “my ass”

I don’t think it’s the first time you’ve imagined that scenario.

Almost as bad as my pet peeve (as some will recall) of Footballers doing that bloody ridiculous staged proposal pictures with their other half for their social media accounts  Such bloody tryhards for acceptence.

What’s the latest on Xhaka’s injury, is he almost recovered? Really need all the players we can have at our disposal in this busy run in to the end of the season.

Man…

From what you said, it was already porn enough…
Pretty much the equivalent of posting actual porn pics/videos

Are we really allowed to do that???:sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

Annoying lingering injury, supposedly he was a chance to play vs Everton and now it’s carried on for over another week :rage:.

Typical arsenal injury

Just goes on to show that no matter how big his weaknesses are, he is really vital to our play. Apart from him and Ramsey there’s no one in the squad who can pass from midfield to attack and one of them off next season.
If we don’t replace Ramsey properly, we are well and truly fucked.

This is why I’ve always liked Xhaka more than most, because currently we absolutely need him.

We have problems sometimes when he’s in the side, but we’ve got much bigger ones when he’s out of it.

People can not like him but reality is we’re better team with Granit Xhaka in it, now that’s partly due to our options but we need this guy playing.

It may look like we miss Xhaka but I’d put that more down to Elneny being such a nothing player and Guendouzi being so raw. They are both inferior to Xhaka in one way or another but I don’t think that should be used to elevate Xhaka’s status.

We could easily improve on him, and we should if we can. With Ramsey going, there is a spot to buy a quality young-ish CM.

Doubt the day was gonna be any different with Xhaka in. Palace was on it today and our defending got found out, unlike the games against Napoli and Watford.

What if Xhaka, AMN and Monreal were in ?

Actually we controlled this match a hell of a lot more with Elneny and Guendouzi it was easier to watch as we had control in midfield. When Xhaka plays we are dominated by mediocre sides and it’s infuriating to watch. I mean I guess we have a short memory to forget that a Xhaka anchored midfield was dominated by 10 fucking men against Watford like 5 days ago lel :joy::joy::joy:. Oh and we also created shit offensively while he was on the pitch anyways, the guy is fucking trash and the fact that Arsenal supporters are saying we missed him just highlights the absolute despair within the fan base. We were fine today without Mustafi and a shit ref imo.

We didn’t dominate shit, we had less shots and less shots on target, lots of pointless possession of sideways and backwards passing isn’t an indication of dominance.

Crystal Palace hardly created anything tho. They scored because a set piece blunder and Mustafi’s mistakes. Let’s go back to Watford and see how many chances they had from open play with 10 men. Having Xhaka in midfield is like being down a man. Elneny and Guendouzi is a much better option than Xhaka.

Yep - this had nothing to do with missing Xhaka, even with useless El Neny we were in complete control and should have won comfortably if not for Moose and Bullwinkle.

Monreal would be the gamechanger here for me. Still, it’s not like we haven’t had days where a side with a Bellerin-Papa-Boss-Monreal line could fall into the off days. Although, our best bet is with those guys as our defence.

We created breakaway after breakaway against Watford… the fact that we never managed to make use of a single one isn’t the central midfielders fault. In terms of going forward they gave the frontline plenty of progressive service.
