I can’t believe this is still being debated.
They’re very touchy about it in Germany. A bar owner in Berlin was telling me that it’s been close to an authoritarian crack-down on Pro-Palestine protestors of late and they’ve passed a new law banning such protests.
In trying to be apologetic to those of the Jewish faith for their own genocide they’re complicit in endorsing another genocide. As @Leper said there shouldn’t be an need for debate let alone making it illegal to publicly express disgust at the Israeli Government under the pretense that it’s anti-Semitic.
Germany is a generally a great country full of good people, but this one had me a bit baffled.
