Hey everyone. Let’s stop allowing political stories to divert us from the main news in town. An alleged ā€œallyā€ is committing genocide in Palestine (and possibly a few other countries) and UK taxpayers are being forced to contribute.

Don’t let political tittle-tattle move focus away from what those butchers the IDF are doing and the complicity of the UK Government.

To be fair, that was one of the first aspects of the case that became known iirc. I don’t have the video but I definitely saw it.

The other stuff about how absolutely guilty they are came later.

This, I’m pretty sure, is what @Darkseid was referring to.

I think he should have had another kick.

Armed Response officers are trained to never let go of their weapons/tasers and to use their legs and feet, but aside from that I think that nasty little rat deserved a kick or two to the head after what he’d done to that bloke in the Starbucks and then what he did to those two female officers. Especially in a fucking airport - the sheer arrogance.

As a society we’re such a soft touch now that horrible bastards like him and his brother think they can get away with murder because they know some bolshy activist somewhere is going to cry bloody murder in their defence.

It’s shocking to see the degradation of the moral fabric of society in real time and a huge part of it is that we treat criminals like this guy with fucking kids gloves, which leads to people having a lack of respect for authority and then situations like this.

These guys will likely get light sentences as well because of prison overcrowding, and they know it as well.

The most shocking thing about that whole incident initially was how the media and every celebrity and MP out there initially sided with these two cunts, and it took airport staff leaking the full videos for the story to actually break properly and even then the media tried to play it down.

For me, the greater injustice here is that the officers were suspended and investigated immediately whilst the attackers were not charged for ages!

I also read that the CPS were not going to press charges and only did because the full videos were leaked and they were pressured into it.

There are dodgy police, as in every sector but by and large they have a thankless task in this society

I hope they get long sentences but inevitability the court system is flawed and they wont

I mean it makes sense, they were probably dreadfully worried about seeming racist.

Police shouldn’t be kicking already restrained and prone people in the head. I understand why it happened, it’s a pretty human reaction to seeing a mate or colleague getting assaulted (in particular if it’s a woman being assaulted by a man), and I’m sure I’d have a strong inclination to want to exact some revenge on someone who did that, but something being understandable doesn’t make it the right thing to do. Exacting revenge is not something police officers are meant to do, and I think police officers need to be held to a high standard, it’s necessary to avoid abuses of power and police brutality.

Leaving aside all other considerations, just on a pragmatic level it would have been a straightforward conviction had the officer not booted a restrained, prone man in the head.

We don’t want our police to be vigilantes. That’s a scary thought to be promoting.

I think the two things should be mutually exclusive (and I get the loopholes criminals use to escape punishment based on police actions). They assaulted a member of the public and then police officers. Assaulting a police officer has to be severely punished, there is already severe lack of respect in society that a member of the public ever feels they can assault an officer (let alone female officers).

Separately if excessive force was used then that can be addressed.

I agree. I don’t think what the officer did should impact on the prosecution of those blokes, but I’m just speaking to the reality of the situation, which is that police doing things like that often does affect prosecution of the originating offence. So pragmatically speaking, if you want people like that to be prosecuted for assaulting your colleagues, don’t unnecessarily kick them in the head.

Yep yep. 2 takeaways.

  1. They were in the wrong.

  2. Maybe the force should reconsider women in front line roles. She got rocked and it’s not the first time I’ve seen that happen

Actually 3: also what Jakeyboy said above.

I feel bad for the mother who had to watch both her sons being dumb and destroying their lives.
She must have cried for days.

I was thinking the same but then realised you need them to deal with female aggressors.
The mistake was not taking another male colleague for an arrest involving an aggressive male offender.

I also don’t understand why the mail officer couldn’t address those brothers before grabbing the guy. He also punched the fatter brother when he could have just sternly asked him to back off.

A disgusting act of police brutality. That officer should be sacked yesterday

I’m in favour of rough/hard policing but the moment you step outside of proper routine and breach professional standards the book should be thrown at you. No excuses.

Glad he gave that vicious cunt a taste of his own medicine

We don’t want thugs policing our streets, delivering vigilante justice when they see fit.

We want the police to enforce the law, which doesn’t involve kicking a man in the head when he is prone on the floor.

Maybe not so much reconsider women in the force but at the very least have some sort of size requirement because the female office in the clip that Leper has posted looks absolutely tiny.

I’ve not seen the clip from that angle and regardless of anything, officers of all ranks are there to keep a situation cool and handle it.
They didnt handle it they made it fucking worse by booting the twat in the head.

The size isn’t the issue. There are a couple of tiny women at my BJJ gym, and they can manhandle men who are a lot bigger than them.

I’m 6"2 and they beat the crap out of me whenever we roll, and they can’t be more than 5"4 themselves.

You can’t compare gym sparring with real life punch to the face
The first lady who took the punch had blood rolling through her nose and was unable to stop crying & compose herself

People react like that because it’s never happened before.

Get in the gym and be punched a lot, and then you wont react like that

The reality is that if you put these women in a real fight they’re going to be absolutely obliterated by a lot of men.

The physical disparity between men and women is so great and it can’t be overcome by skill level at all.
