I wonder if she used to work on the docks

She did, with Tommy, but not since the union’s been on strike.

Why did the woman need saving? Was she on some bad medicine and feeling suicidal, or was the bridge merely slippery when wet thus posing a serious hazard to the general public?

Right, that’s it. I’m not drinking beer from logo-less glasses so I’m going to stop drinking all types of alcohol.

Maybe I’m thinking superficially, but I only see the branded pint glass once I have ordered my pint and had it poured for me, so how is it influencing my purchasing decision?!

I guess I might see someone else’s branded pint glass before I order, but in that situation, I’m already in the pub because I want to drink beer, so how exactly is this branded pint glass convincing me to buy a product I was already going to buy?!

Yeah, that’ll work.
The SNP government must have MP’s with so little to do that they have to come up with pointless ideas like this to waste tax payers money.

They’re only looking into it. It’s not policy lol

Eventually we’ll treat alcohol marketing the same way we treat tobacco products, and that will be a good thing.

Never in my life have I thought thats a great pint glass I will order it.

Closest you get currently is when you order x beer and bartender says we don’t have x glasses left so its gonna need to be a y glass is that ok?

Like I am gonna say no but I understand why they say it :joy:

I’ve definitely done that. But it’s because that glass was coming home with me.

Actually you don’t have to I’ve found a zero alcohol draught Guinness and there’s no difference in taste

No no, that’s Gina. She was working for her man, at the diner all day.

On a serious note, my guess is he started to sing to her. When she heard his year 2024 voice, she realised some people are in a worse place then her.

I’ve just restarted drinking alcohol after a 6 year gap (medications, awaiting diagnoses, etc) and I absolutely love Guinness 0%, it’s my usual matchday pint, along with a couple of gummies to keep me calm.

I don’t know whether it’s exported to the EU but if you’re looking for a good low-alcohol ale Adnams’ ā€œGhost Shipā€ is my favourite.

I’m taking it easy. A boozy couple at the start of the evening, then onto the unleaded stuff. I still can’t get drunk nor do I miss getting drunk and hangovers.

Still no alcohol for me at the moment, my only choices here are the already mentioned Guinness and the various 0 beers that Sagres and Super Bock make.
I’ll be in Italy after Christmas so will check out the selection there.

I found a good selection in the bars in Florence, so you should at least be able to drink something different.

0% alcohol beer is pointless lol beer tastes terrible, the only positive it has is getting one intoxicated.

Each to their own I suppose, I feel the same way about New Zealand it’s existence is pointless and the positive is that’s its so far away

Gonna stand for the New Zealand here cause apparently that’s where The Lords of the Rings was made. Arguably the best trilogy ever made.

Even that’s not a positive lol

This is the Nanny State gone mad! Well I say boo to Nanny!

Of all the problems, there are surely more pressing matters to resolve?
