How is our UK contingent doing with this rumored heat wave hitting over there? I remember my flat not having any AC and basically boiling alive during one day at the end of the semester when it was maybe in the high 70s Fahrenheit.

That’s like what, 80F? That’s lightwork over here but even houses in the northeast where I am have AC. I can’t imagine being in an apartment without it when the temperatures get to that level.

Well I just spent couple months at 32-34 Celsius in Jamaica in Winter/Spring, England heat’s is scrubby compared to that lol. (First I’ve heard of a heatwave tho)

I don’t know. Permanently living there felt like hell to me. It looks nice, but the weather is too extreme to the hot side for my liking.

These people are just attention seeking virtual signallers that should be put away, which would be a deterrent to other idiots who ruin it for everyone else.
No one is impressed by their actions and puts a lot of people off whatever they’re campaigning for, especially when it disrupts their travel to work.
It’s noticeable they always go for easy targets like tennis or the Chelsea flower show but aren’t so keen to run on the pitch at a Leeds game or or go to Gaza, where they might face a bit of opposition.
